Mosswood Oakland Park needs fair access

From the Oakland Dog Owner's Group, there is a need to still petition the city of Oakland regarding access to Mosswood Park, Oakland:

"Have you heard about the dog park we aren't allowed to
walk to? That seems to be situation we created at Mosswood when we failed to
ask the City to change the rules so that we could walk through this giant park
to get to the dog runs. Come speak out to get the rule changed at the parks
commission meeting.

Speak Out for fair access to Mosswood Dog Park. We never
guessed that City laws would prohibit walking through Mosswood with our dogs on
leash. But that is the current law. Help us show the parks commission that it
is rationale to change the regulation so that we can leash-walk our dogs to the
fenced area instead of having to walk 2-3 blocks around the park.  Contact Ellen Gierson <mailto:ellenrocks@gmail.com> for more
information about the situation and how you can help.
