Dog bites— Are there dangerous breeds?

Certain dog breeds have been linked to more biting incidents.  Here are some tips on how to be a responsible owner of any type of dog to mitigate aggression and hopefully prevent biting.  

One of the main points is that big dogs may not be more prone to bite than smaller dogs, but they are capable of more damage, and thus the big dogs are reported more often as violent. Key point - "Any dog that is well restrained
and well trained can be perfectly safe, regardless of breed. The truth
is, an irresponsible owner is much more dangerous than any dog."
