This dog park has a separate small dog area (30lb and under.) The closest parking lot is on Turtle Creek Road, you can park just south of the dog park and walk up on the trail. See city dog park rules for further information.

Beautiful Dog Park
This dog park was a bit hard to find. It is inside Newhall Park and not to be confused with a nearby private dog park on the other side of the road. There is a parking lot south of the dog park and it is a small walk on a gravel path to the dog park. You have to pass the bochy ball courts and an open lawn and pond with geese. This park is lovely. The dog park was full of green grass even in the middle of the summer. There was not much of any shade within the dog park but there are trees lining the edge of the fence. There is a doggie drinking fountain and benches.
