Saturday June 7, 2008 from 10 am to 3 pm at Alum Creek Dog Park.   This is the second birthday of the dog park.  Contact alumdogpark@earthlink.net if you want to be a vendor for the event or volunteer to help.  There will be a 5K race and 1 mile fun walk.

Dogs need to be on leash for the event and there is a $2 donation.  Check for rain as there are rain dates for these events.

Saturday, January 5th, 2008 from 11-2pm

The money for the pictures will be used for lighting at the Alum Creek Dog Park.

The dogs will be having their pictures taken with an OSU background.  Bring your dog in Buckeye paraphenalia. People can come and be in the pictures too.  The pictures will be taken at Alum Creek State Park Office, 3615 S. Old State Rd, Delaware, OH 43015, 740-548-4631.

Tuesday, November 20 at 7pm at the Goodale Park Shelter

Columbus Recreation and Parks Department will be discussing plans for a future dog park in the downtown area.  Come show your support!

9am to noon

Bring a rake!  This time the engraved bricks will be laid along with other clean up projects. See you there.

Saturday November 3rd and Sunday the 4th - DRAINAGE PROJECT

Saturday all hands needed to install temporary fencing and trench out 1500 ft.

Sunday all hands needed to install 1500ft of drainage tile, fill with dirt, gravel and seed.

Large equipment will be provided but hands are needed for the other work!  Rakes, shovels and wheelbarrows are great tools to bring.  Lunch provided!

"All proceeds from this concert will go to the Alum Creek Dog Park Lighting Project.  The lights will be installed in 2 phases.  Phase 1 will be to upgrade the existing light in Jan 2008. Because of your kind donations into the on site donation boxes, we have sufficient funds for Phase 1. The specifics of Phase 2 will be determined by how much light Phase 1 provides the dog park. Those details and costs will be determined after Phase 1 is installed.  Quality outdoor lighting is expensive so we will need some successful fundraisers to complete Phase 2."

September 8 and 9 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Dog Swim Party at Hunter's Ridge pool (341 Harrow Blvd). $5 per dog.

September 7 from 5 - 9 p.m. - Pickerington Petfest along West Columbus Street in the Olde Pickerington Village. There will be a Pet Parade through the area at 7:00 PM.
