Seger Dog Run

This dog park was built in 2005 at a park where dogs had been congregating with their owners for some time.  The Seger Park Dog Owners Association (SPDOA) runs this park but the land is owned by the city; it is a great way the community is involved in taking care of and creating public space. The non-profit also maintains a website with helpful links to the dog community, like the local dog shelter.  They also have some great pictures of this park being built.
