Saturday, September 20, 12 noon to 3:00 p.m.

There will be a $5 fee; register at 228-0137 or walk-up registration is also allowed.  This is a benefit for the dog park; and a fun thing to do before the pool is drained for the year.  Only the dogs can swim and they must be vaccinated and wear a collar.

Closed September 8th-12th for an upgrade. Toad Hollow dog park will be getting a perimeter path.

The yearly dog festival is near.  Music, vendors, demonstrations, contests, performances, learn about dog care and services...  fun for the whole family.  (All dogs must be on leash.)

Naglee Park at William Street Park, San Jose

Location: The 10 acre park at William Street, South Sixteenth Street and Coyote Creek. As a note, South Sixteenth Street will be closed from William to Margaret Streets.

Sunday August 3rd, 2008 at 5:05 - Game Start At 6:05.  You have to pre-order your tickets for this Sacramento River Cats vs. Memphis Redbirds game.  Before the game is the parade and doggy costume contest.  $22 one person and one dog.  $7 for additional people and $15 for additional dogs.  Dogs will be served water and dog treats.

$56 for you and your dog in the bleacher section.  Last year there were over 700 dogs in the bleachers.  It is $27 for any additional person. SFDOGS has a block of tickets they are selling. 

The Toy Dog group is meeting at Carmichael Dog Park, Friday June 13 at 7 PM.

From the Oakland Dog Owner's Group, there is a need to still petition the city of Oakland regarding access to Mosswood Park, Oakland:

"Have you heard about the dog park we aren't allowed to
walk to? That seems to be situation we created at Mosswood when we failed to
ask the City to change the rules so that we could walk through this giant park
to get to the dog runs. Come speak out to get the rule changed at the parks
commission meeting.

Speak Out for fair access to Mosswood Dog Park. We never
guessed that City laws would prohibit walking through Mosswood with our dogs on
leash. But that is the current law. Help us show the parks commission that it
is rationale to change the regulation so that we can leash-walk our dogs to the

Berkeley East Bay Humane Society annual fundraiser.  Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Berkeley City Club.  This event is for the humans and will feature music, wine, and a silent auction all to benefit the Humane Society.

Sunday, May 18, 2008 from 3-4pm.  Bring a small four footed friend for a fun time at Gizmoland in Joaquin Miller Dog Park.

May 17, 2008 from 10am-noon at Hardy Dog Park.  Bring any items to help us clean, like buckets, screw drivers, scrubbers, and bags.
