This dog park is located near downtown Scott's Valley.  It is easily accessible and near the community center, soccer fields, and a skateboard park.  It is one of the very few fenced dog parks in the entire area.  Some of the surrounding cities are too small or up too far in the mountains to have their own dog parks.  It is a great place for people to socialize their dogs.  Santa Cruz city currently has no fenced dog parks. 

This dog park is covered in wood chips and mulch.  The dogs find it fun to dig in the wood chips.  It is one of the nicest smelling parks because of the wood chips; I was told at one point that the wood chips were donated from local tree trimmers from their mulchers.  The chips help keep the park from getting muddy in the wet winters here in Scott's Valley.  

Many small dogs come to this park because it has the separate area for them to play.  There are some really great dogs out there to play with!!!!
